Information:
The first Della Hardman Day was held in July 2005 as a tribute organized by her friends, family, colleagues, students and a host of others who she had positively influenced. Following her death in 2005, the Town of Oak Bluffs proclaimed the last Saturday of July as Della Hardman Day in perpetuity to celebrate the arts and the joy of living based on Della Hardman’s theme, “Savor the Moment.”
